Basecamp for them was the shop of Shea Alexander of Alexander Brothers. This family affair collaborates to sell lumber, while a passel of brother specializes in their own craft: woodworking, metal work, leather.
Shea's shop is very photogenic. Logan became enamored by the little Morso woodstove. After last winter's $500/mo. heating bills, a woodstove powered by offcuts and mistakes sounds amazing.
